WINTERIZATION PROCEDURE
BOAT-VOLVO PENTA

  1. Add fuel stabilizer to fuel – run on flush muff 7-10 minutes
  2. Change engine oil & filter – replace with Volvo Penta synthetic oil
  3. Check power steering fluid – fill as necessary
  4. Check tilt/trim reservoir – fill as necessary
  5. Change lower unit fluid – replace with Volvo Penta premium gear lube
  6. Remove propeller – check for fishing line or debris on shaft.  Grease shaft and re-install prop.
  7. Remove engine block plugs and exhaust manifold plugs.  Check for debris obstructing drain holes
  8. Remove all lower hose clamps and disconnect hoses to drain water
  9. trim out drive to lower most position to fully drain all water

**        Engine block, exhaust manifold, bilge plug, and hose clamps in plastic bag tied to           steering wheel or in glove box.

**        Recommend customer store out drive in down position if stored outside
**        Recommend customer disconnect and remove battery for outside winter storage
REMEMBER
!           Important  -  Boat must always be run on flush muff first start of season!
